Revlon lipsticks haul & swatches

For some reason, I was in the mood to shop for lipsticks today. So right after I work, I went straight to the mall and bought myself 2 revlon lipsticks and lashblast mascara.

Revlon Matte 005 Strawberry Suede

It's very bright and matte. Time to look for a good lipgloss that will match this color!! :) any suggestions?

Super Lustrous Lipstick Pearl 634 Sparkling Cider

I know I probably would only use the strawberry suede once or twice in a year (haha) but I just thought I'd "invest" on a red lipstick. Kinda like one of those things you should have at least one of in your box. I got lazy to try on the mascara.. will post photos next time.. :)

(Belated) Happy Birthday Anna!

It was actually last Apr 24 but I just wanted to blog about it (haha!). So the original plan we had was a surprise party at Stanley Park for some cherry blossom lookbook picnic/photoshoot. But since Vancouver weather was being a jerk, it wasn't sunny enough to have an outdoor picnic so we decided to go somewhere else sunny... The Sunny Dragon Restaurant. Haha! It was still a surprise party which was good, and we still had a lil bit of "lookbook" theme minus the cherry blossoms. Then we went to Anna's house and baked home made brazos de mercedes. Yumm.

My outfit was easy as I just finished cleaning up my room that time and rushed to the restaurant. Thank God for Anna being late, I got there a few minutes after Anna came. :)

Granville island!

I'm so glad that sun is finally back here in Vancouver! Yay for spring. :) I went out for a bit today and the weather was so nice that I didn't have to wear a sweater. I hope this isn't just a teaser as Vancouver likes to play us like that. haha!

Anyway, me and my bf went to Granville island yesterday to take photos. Granville island is what I will consider one of the most artsy places here in Vancouver, well.. a very well known arts school (Emily Carr) is there so I guess that would make sense :) But weather wasn't as great as today's, considering we were there at around 6pm. It was very cold, but we still managed to take some shots. I also got new shoes 2 weeks ago which I haven't worn yet so I wanted to take photos with it.
